Suspected shoplifter threatens employee with knife in Menden
A 25-year-old suspected shoplifter allegedly threatened an employee with a knife in Menden on Friday afternoon. The employee had seen the man put several bottles into his possession and confronted him. The suspect returned the bottles, then took a knife from the shop display and pointed it threateningly at the employee. He later dropped the knife, took a chocolate bar and fled by bicycle. Police officers located the wanted man later and provisionally detained him.
