Man threatens opponent with knife at Meiningen market square
A 25-year-old man threatened a 60-year-old with a knife after a dispute at the market square in Meiningen. The two men had first become involved in an argument on Monday afternoon, which ended in physical altercations.
When police arrived, they spoke to the younger man, who immediately put down the knife. A breath test showed an alcohol level of more than 2.5 per mille. Police filed reports for assault and making threats and issued him an exclusion order.
