Man allegedly attacked family member with knife in Marburg
A 21-year-old man allegedly attacked a 32-year-old family member in Marburg on the afternoon of 13 May. According to police and prosecutors, he first struck the man several times with a baseball bat before allegedly attacking him with a knife with intent to kill. The 32-year-old avoided the stabbing motions but suffered non-life-threatening injuries from the blows. The suspect was arrested the following day and is in pre-trial detention after a judge issued a detention order. Investigators are continuing to examine the sequence of events and the background.
