Employee seriously injured with knife in Marburg
A 31-year-old man allegedly unexpectedly attacked a 35-year-old employee with a knife at a residential group home for people with mental illness in Marburg on the evening of 10 September. The employee was seriously injured but his injuries were not life-threatening. Police arrested the suspect at the scene and seized the suspected knife. Initial inquiries indicated a mental illness, and a judge ordered the suspect's temporary placement in a psychiatric hospital the following day. The investigation is continuing.
