Man threatens employee with knife during robbery at Mannheim betting shop
An unidentified man is alleged to have robbed a betting shop in Mannheim's G 4 quadrant at around 19:50 on 2 June. Police said he initially stayed in the sanitary facilities before approaching the counter masked and threatening a 42-year-old employee with a knife. Under that threat, he demanded the till contents and took cash in the low four-figure range. He then fled on foot towards Marktplatz. Criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
