Man injured in the face with knife in Mannheim
A 25-year-old man was injured in the face with a knife in Mannheim city centre on Wednesday lunchtime. Between the K 3 and I 3 blocks, he noticed an argument involving an older man and a teenager and attempted to calm the situation. The older man allegedly then produced a knife and inflicted a cut to his face. The injured man fled while bleeding heavily, went to a hospital on his own and required stitches. He reported the incident to police that evening; officers are investigating and seeking witnesses.
