Man robbed at knifepoint in Mannheim park
Three unknown men are alleged to have threatened a 26-year-old man with a firearm and a knife before robbing him in a park in Mannheim's M-Quadrate district on Tuesday evening. The man had tried to leave after the group asked him for money. They allegedly stopped him at gunpoint and knifepoint. One suspect searched his bag and clothing, taking about 25 euros and a bank card. The man was then pressured to provide the card's PIN but gave a false number sequence. He escaped and called emergency services. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
