18-year-old injured in the face during altercation in Magdeburg
An initially verbal dispute involving several people escalated near Krügerbrücke in Magdeburg on 7 November. An 18-year-old suspect is alleged to have produced an unidentified object and inflicted stab wounds to the face of an 18-year-old victim. The injured man initially left the scene and was later found by federal police officers at Willy-Brandt-Platz, before being taken by ambulance to a hospital for medical treatment. The suspect appeared while officers were recording the incident, was identified and released after police measures. Further participants were located in the city centre, and the investigation is ongoing.
