Five injured after altercation involving knife in Magdeburg
On 19 September, two groups of four people each became involved in an altercation near a supermarket at Olvenstedter Scheid in Magdeburg. Following a verbal dispute, all those present took part in the physical confrontation. Pepper spray and a knife were allegedly used. A 26-year-old man sustained cut and stab injuries and was treated in hospital; according to the current information, his injuries were not life-threatening. Four other injured people were also taken to hospital for medical care. Police secured evidence and are investigating.
