Man seriously injured in dispute outside Lübeck bar
At about 02:45 on the night of 13 June, a dispute between two men escalated outside a bar on An der Untertrave in Lübeck. After a physical altercation, a knife was used; the 37-year-old sustained serious stab wounds and two cuts to his thighs. Police officers initially used two tourniquets to stop severe bleeding before emergency personnel took the injured man to hospital. A 48-year-old suspect was provisionally detained at the scene but released on Saturday morning because there were no grounds for detention. He is under investigation on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
