Women threatened with knife at bus stop in Lübeck
A man is alleged to have threatened two women at a bus stop at Kohlmarkt in central Lübeck on 18 July. The women had confronted him after observing him touch a child who appeared frightened. He allegedly tried to strike one woman and pulled a knife from his jacket to threaten the other. He is said to have announced that he would stab her and moved towards her. A bystander intervened, pulled him back and took possession of the knife after it fell to the ground. The man left the scene; criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
