Man seriously injured in altercation in Lübeck
A 52-year-old man was seriously injured by a stab wound to the upper body during an altercation at the entrance to and in the car park of a supermarket in Lübeck on 3 February. According to initial findings, the incident was preceded by a dispute involving several people. The as-yet unidentified suspect is alleged to have used a stabbing weapon against the man before fleeing on foot. The injured man was taken to hospital after initial treatment; his injuries were serious but not life-threatening. Police and fire service personnel searched for the weapon but did not find it.
