Man pulls knife during police operation in Ludwigshafen
A 47-year-old man allegedly threw several glass bottles and held a large knife in a bar on Sternstraße in Ludwigshafen-Friesenheim at around 3:42 a.m. on 28 September. When police arrived, he immediately behaved aggressively and pulled the knife again, police said.
Officers used a Taser, brought the man to the ground and restrained him. No one was injured. He was subsequently taken to a psychiatric facility.
