Man remanded in custody after alleged knife extortion in Ludwigshafen
A 25-year-old man is alleged to have demanded cash while displaying a knife during an altercation at a shisha bar on Wredestraße in Ludwigshafen in the early hours of 26 January. He was brought before a judge later that day. At the prosecution's request, a remand order was issued, including on suspicion of robbery extortion; the stated ground for detention was a risk of reoffending. The suspect was then taken to a correctional facility.
