Attempted knife robbery at Ludwigsburg petrol station
Late on 20 August, a masked man allegedly entered a petrol station on Schwieberdinger Straße in Ludwigsburg. He demanded cash from a 38-year-old employee and, after the employee initially hesitated, allegedly pulled a knife from his jacket and threatened him. The employee did not hand over money; police said the suspect insulted him and fled on foot towards Pflugfelden. A search involving patrol cars and a police helicopter has so far been unsuccessful. Criminal police are investigating.
