Man threatens and injures people with knife in Lippstadt
A 34-year-old resident of a group home is alleged to have first threatened staff at an occupational therapy facility in Lippstadt with a knife on 17 June. Police said he then threatened further people near the clinic and inflicted a superficial cut to the back of a 61-year-old passer-by. The woman was treated in hospital and, according to police, was never in life-threatening danger. A 55-year-old employee sustained minor injuries. Officers arrested the man at about 12:30 p.m. A judge ordered his placement in a secure psychiatric clinic the following day.
