Two suspects arrested after knife threat at railway station
On 9 September, two men threatened a witness with a knife at Lengerich railway station after the witness confronted them at about 10:45 a.m. over an alleged attempt to steal his bicycle. The men initially fled. Following a search, police located both suspects near Teutoburger Straße and provisionally arrested them. Suspected stolen property was seized during a search. A 21-year-old suspect was remanded in pre-trial detention after appearing before a judge, while a minor suspect was released from custody. The investigation is continuing.
