Teenager dies after knife attack in Lemgo
A teenager died following an altercation at a supermarket on Lemgoer Straße in Lemgo on the evening of 20 October. Police said a 33-year-old man is suspected of inflicting fatal injuries on the victim with a knife.
Several emergency calls were received at about 8:30 p.m. after a seriously injured person was reported in the checkout area. Emergency services confirmed the teenager's death. The suspect was arrested in the supermarket car park; injuries he is said to have sustained during the altercation were treated in hospital. The circumstances remain under investigation.
