Knife robbery in Leipzig's Bürgermeister-Müller-Park
During the night before Sunday, a 21-year-old man allegedly threatened a 22-year-old with a knife in Leipzig's Bürgermeister-Müller-Park and demanded cash. According to federal police, the victim handed over a low three-figure sum out of fear. The suspect then fled towards the main station while holding the knife. Security staff held both men there after the victim reported the alleged robbery. The knife was later found in a nearby rubbish bin. The state police are conducting the further investigation.
