Two men slightly injured in robbery at Leipzig Central Station

A 27-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were slightly injured in a robbery at Leipzig Central Station during the night of 25 April. A group of men allegedly took their Bluetooth speaker while the two men were listening to music shortly before midnight at Willy-Brandt-Platz. When the men tried to recover the device, the incident moved toward the central stop. There, the unknown offenders allegedly used a pointed or cutting implement and an irritant against both men; one man's jacket was damaged by cuts. The offenders fled with the speaker. Passers-by attempted to help at the central stop. Criminal police are investigating the robbery and seeking witnesses.
