Knife injury in altercation at Leipzig football pitch
An altercation involving several people occurred at a football pitch on Am Kirschberg in Leipzig-Grünau at about 18:35 on 1 May. Following an argument between two men, a 27-year-old man allegedly injured a 32-year-old man with a knife. Further people physically joined the altercation, and at least two of them were also injured. The 32-year-old and the 27-year-old required hospital treatment. Police are investigating suspected dangerous bodily harm and the precise sequence of events.
