Two men remanded after knife attack in Laupheim

A longstanding dispute between two residents escalated at around 23:00 on 14 July at worker accommodation on Weldenstraße in Laupheim. According to witnesses, a 37-year-old man first struck a 42-year-old man with a stone. The 42-year-old is then alleged to have stabbed the 37-year-old with a kitchen knife. The 37-year-old suffered stab and cut injuries and, despite serious injuries, went to a nearby police station; police said his life was probably not in danger. The 42-year-old was also injured and taken to hospital. Both men were arrested and remanded after appearing before a judge on suspicion of mutual dangerous bodily harm.
