Man threatens municipal employee with utility knife in Langenargen

A 46-year-old man allegedly became involved in an argument with a 32-year-old on Klosterstraße in Langenargen on 11 December. Police said he attacked the man and threatened him with a glass bottle. When a municipal enforcement employee intervened, the 46-year-old allegedly pulled a utility knife and threatened the 54-year-old with it. He remained aggressive when officers arrived and was brought to the ground using pepper spray. He was taken to a specialist clinic because of an apparent mental-health condition, while police investigate suspected assault and threats.
