Man allegedly attacked acquaintance with knife in Lahr
A 33-year-old man allegedly attempted to injure a 30-year-old acquaintance with a knife on Schwarzwaldstraße in Lahr on Saturday afternoon. Police said the older man, who was riding a bicycle, collided with the younger cyclist at about 14:00. The 30-year-old fell and was allegedly first punched. When the 33-year-old allegedly drew a knife, the younger man defended himself and sustained minor injuries, according to the information available so far. The alleged attacker then stopped. Criminal police are investigating the motive and the precise sequence of events.
