31-year-old man threatens police officers in Kyritz with knife
A 31-year-old man threatened police officers with a knife in Kyritz on 15 July 2026. Before that, he is reported to have insulted and threatened other people and damaged an entrance door. The man held the knife in his hand and did not comply with repeated orders from officers to put it down. After officers repeatedly warned that they would use a Taser, they deployed it and incapacitated him. He was taken to the ground, handcuffed and brought to hospital. Criminal police are investigating.
