Man with knife triggers police operation in Kronau
On Saturday evening, a 39-year-old man prompted a police operation in Kronau after witnesses reported a loud dispute at a house on Bahnhofstraße. Officers shortly afterwards encountered him on Bahnhofstraße holding a knife, which he continued to hold despite repeated orders to put it down. He only put down the knife after officers drew their firearms and was initially arrested. While being taken to a patrol car, he kicked and spat at officers, slightly injuring one police officer.
