Man dies after knife attack in Krefeld
A 62-year-old man died on Saturday after a knife attack on Krüllsdyk street in Krefeld. According to the current investigation, a 33-year-old suspect is alleged to have first gone to the man's home. The eventual victim fled into the street, where he was allegedly attacked and fatally injured.
The suspect injured himself. Officers provisionally detained him nearby shortly after the incident. A homicide investigation team is examining the background to the case.
