39-year-old injured with knife during robbery in Cologne
A 39-year-old man was injured in the hand with a knife during a robbery in Cologne's Old Town in the early hours of 28 August. At about 2:50 a.m., he noticed that his backpack had been stolen while he was sitting in an outdoor dining area at Frankenwerft and found it with two men. When he confronted them and took back the backpack, one of the men attacked him with a knife. Further suspects hit the man and took his necklace, wallet and backpack. He received outpatient treatment at a clinic, while the offenders fled.
