Scissors used in robbery-related theft in Cologne
A 25-year-old man is alleged to have threatened a woman and her companion with scissors in Cologne's old town on 17 June after the woman found him inside her unlocked car. Police said he was already holding her wallet and threw it to an accomplice. Both men fled, but officers later arrested the 25-year-old on Baumstraße. The alleged accomplice escaped with the property. Police recovered the discarded scissors from beneath a car on Thieboldsgasse after reviewing police video surveillance. The arrested man was due to be brought before a remand judge.
