Man threatened with knife and firearm in Cologne

Several people are alleged to have lured a 45-year-old man to a meeting point on Rösrather Straße in Cologne on 4 April under a pretext. They allegedly threatened him with a knife and a firearm and forced him to travel in their vehicle. In the rear courtyard of a car dealership in Cologne-Mülheim, they are alleged to have held him for a short time, used physical violence and demanded payment of alleged debts plus interest. He was allegedly released shortly afterwards. The investigation is continuing; police cite financial and business disputes as the current background.
