Elderly woman allegedly threatened with knife in Cologne
A man allegedly threatened an elderly woman with a knife and demanded cash outside a shopping centre in Cologne's Merheim district on 25 January. A customer told an employee at the shopping centre about the robbery, and the employee called police at about 3.45 pm. Patrol officers located a 25-year-old suspect shortly afterwards near Ostmerheimer Straße and Arnikaweg. The elderly woman left the scene without providing her details or speaking to officers. Criminal investigators are therefore seeking the woman and further witnesses.
