Man injured by knife stabbings during altercation in Koblenz
During the night of 30 August, two groups became involved in a physical confrontation at Münzplatz in Koblenz’s old town after a verbal dispute. Police said an unidentified man pulled a knife and stabbed another man several times in the legs. The injured man received treatment at the scene and was taken to hospital for further care.
At least 15 people are believed to have been involved. Police said the suspected attacker and his group followed the injured man and his companions as far as a kebab shop on Hohenfelder Straße before leaving the area. An initial search was unsuccessful, and police are investigating suspected dangerous bodily harm.
