Three people injured in altercation in Koblenz
Three people were injured in an altercation in Koblenz on Thursday. A 30-year-old man suffered several cuts to his upper body and was taken to hospital after receiving initial treatment. Investigators said he had previously sustained a stab wound inflicted from within a group in Viktoriastraße, before the confrontation moved to Zentralplatz outside the Forum shopping centre. A 26-year-old man and a child were injured by irritant gas. The suspects initially fled but were identified following a witness tip and taken into police custody. Criminal proceedings have been opened.
