Man in Kiel forced to withdraw cash after knife and gun threats

Several suspects allegedly held a 28-year-old man for several hours in a holiday flat in Kiel on 15 July. Investigators said they threatened him with a gun, held a knife to his neck, took his phone and vehicle keys, and demanded money. The man was then allegedly taken in his own vehicle to a bank on Lorentzendamm, where he withdrew and handed over cash. He also reported being punched and kicked and was taken to hospital with severe head and facial pain, dizziness and nausea. A 26-year-old suspect was provisionally detained and later released; arrest warrants have been issued for two further identified men, who are being sought.
