Man threatens two people with knife after shoplifting in Kerpen
Following suspected shoplifting in Kerpen, a man allegedly threatened two people with a knife in the parking area of a drugstore. The two had detained a woman who was said to have tried to leave the store without paying for goods in a pram. Police said she injured one of them while striking out. A man then arrived in a dark estate car, got out and threatened both people, who released the woman. The two suspects fled in the car, and police are seeking witnesses.
