Store detective threatened with switchblade in Kassel
Following an attempted theft at an electronics shop on Königsplatz in Kassel, a 39-year-old man allegedly threatened a store detective with a switchblade. The detective had seen the man and a 35-year-old woman conceal two speakers and pass the checkout area without paying. He held both until police arrived and was not injured. The woman allegedly kicked a police officer in the knee while trying to prevent her companion's arrest. Both detainees were taken to a police station.
