Minor detained after attempted knife robbery in Karlsruhe
A minor allegedly threatened a 23-year-old passer-by with a knife and demanded cash in Karlsruhe's Jakob-Malsch-Anlage at about 3:45 p.m. on 11 February. When a cyclist arrived, he reportedly stopped confronting the man and fled. A witness later held the minor until police arrived. Following a search, police provisionally detained him near the scene and found the allegedly used knife in a backpack.
