Teenager threatens police officers near Kandel with razor blade
A teenager threatened police officers with a razor blade she was carrying during an operation on the A65 near Kandel. Motorists had previously reported the young woman behind a crash barrier.
Police said she appeared to be in a mental health crisis and repeatedly tried to evade officers. During restraint, she resisted, threatened and insulted the officers. No one was injured. The teenager was subsequently taken to a psychiatric clinic.
