Shoplifter threatens detective with knife in Kaiserslautern
A 20-year-old man allegedly stole an electric toothbrush from a drugstore in Kaiserslautern on the evening of 18 September. When a store detective confronted him, the man pushed the security employee and fled. Police said he pulled out a knife and threatened the detective during the pursuit. Officers later identified the suspect using video footage and arrested him on Wormser Straße. He was taken to prison that evening because an existing warrant for the enforcement of a sentence was found.
