Armed robbery at café in Kaarst
A masked man robbed a café in the Rathausarkaden at Am Neumarkt in Kaarst during the night of 19 to 20 December. At about 01:45, he threatened the sole employee present with a butterfly knife and demanded money in English. The offender took the waiter’s cash wallet from the counter and fled towards Alte Heerstraße. Police are seeking witnesses.
