Man threatened with kitchen knife in Jüterbog
On Saturday, 14 June 2025, a 34-year-old man allegedly threatened a 26-year-old man with a kitchen knife in Kloster Zinna near Jüterbog at around 14:40. The two men had previously been involved in a physical altercation, during which the 26-year-old sustained minor injuries to his hand. The suspect fled before emergency personnel arrived, and the initial search was unsuccessful. Police and emergency services had been called on Saturday afternoon. The cause of the dispute was difficult to clarify because of a language barrier and advanced intoxication; police are investigating an assault offence and secured the kitchen knife as well as remnants of substances resembling narcotics.
