Man injured with knife in Jena
During the night before Monday, three unidentified men allegedly approached a woman and her male companion at Holzmarkt near the tram underpass in Jena. One of the men injured the companion with a knife. The injured man was taken to hospital. The three men fled towards Goethe-Galerie on two bicycles. Police said it has not yet been established whether a robbery took place, and the exact sequence remains unclear because witness accounts differ and there was a language barrier.
