Knife threat during dispute outside Jena supermarket
A 35-year-old man and a 42-year-old man became involved in a dispute outside a supermarket on Erlanger Allee in Jena on the evening of 18 June. According to police, the 35-year-old used pepper spray while the 42-year-old threatened his opponent with a knife. The 42-year-old received medical treatment at the scene because of the pepper spray. Both men were heavily intoxicated and were ordered to leave after the police response. Police opened proceedings for dangerous bodily harm and threats and seized the pepper spray and knife.
