Employee threatened with knife at Itzehoe drugstore
A 36-year-old man is in pre-trial detention following an incident at a drugstore in Itzehoe. At about 19:30 on the evening of 2 November 2026, he entered the shop on Vor dem Delftor. An employee recognised him despite an existing ban from the premises and told him to leave. He then allegedly drew a knife and threatened her before leaving with a shopping basket and unpaid drugstore goods. Police identified and arrested him using a description and information they already had. A judge issued an arrest warrant on suspicion of aggravated robbery and cited a risk of flight.
