Man throws knife at police officer in Isny
Following a reported fight outside a restaurant on Bahnhofstraße in Isny im Allgäu, a 33-year-old man is alleged to have thrown a knife at a police officer. Police patrols had previously ordered him to leave the area. He allegedly returned with a knife and ignored requests to put it down. When officers used pepper spray, he allegedly threw the knife deliberately in the officer's direction; it struck a railing and missed her. The man was arrested and brought before a judge, who ordered pre-trial detention on suspicion of attempted homicide.
