Man critically injured by stab wounds in Isernhagen
A 28-year-old man was found with life-threatening stab wounds at Hufeisensee lake in Isernhagen on Friday evening. He placed an emergency call himself at about 10:30 p.m. Emergency personnel found him lying on a field path near Landwehrdamm, provided medical care and took him to hospital. He underwent emergency surgery that night and was initially unable to be questioned. Police are investigating on suspicion of attempted homicide; at first, there were no confirmed findings about the weapon, background or a possible suspect.
