Suspect remanded in custody after stabbing injury in Ingolstadt
A 23-year-old man was apparently seriously injured by multiple stab wounds in Ingolstadt on 21 April. He was found near Nordbahnhof station, received initial medical treatment and underwent emergency surgery that night. He is no longer in danger of death.
Investigators believe the assault may have taken place near Hindenburgpark, with the victim then allegedly left at Nordbahnhof station. Criminal police arrested a 19-year-old suspect in Ingolstadt. A judge ordered pre-trial detention, and the investigation continues.
