Couple threatened with pocketknife in Ibbenbüren
According to police, a couple was threatened by a man on 27 July on Dompfaffweg in Ibbenbüren-Laggenbeck. The man is alleged to have drawn a pocketknife and demanded money. After one member of the couple told him to leave, the suspect ran into a residential area. Officers located him shortly afterwards using a description and provisionally detained him. Police also said they are investigating two additional incidents from the same day.
