Man seriously injured in dispute in Hürth
A 49-year-old man was seriously injured by multiple stab wounds during an altercation in a car park on Alstädter Straße in Hürth on 28 August. According to initial findings, a 52-year-old suspect allegedly stabbed him several times. Passers-by helped the injured man and called an ambulance, after which he was taken to hospital. The suspect initially left the scene but later went to a police station in Frechen, where he was provisionally detained. Investigators have ruled out a knife as the weapon and are investigating suspected dangerous bodily harm.
