Two unknown suspects rob cyclist at knifepoint in Höchberg
Two unknown cyclists allegedly stopped a 54-year-old man on a forest path near the Waldsportplatz in Höchberg on Thursday evening and demanded that he hand over his wallet. One of the men is said to have held a knife. After the man surrendered the wallet, the suspects took a mid-three-figure sum of cash from it and fled by bicycle towards Waldbüttelbrunn. The man was not injured and reported the incident several hours later. Würzburg criminal police are investigating suspected robbery extortion and seeking witnesses.
